STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Mariners Harbor man arrested last year in a harrowing shooting at his apartment building has resolved his case on a lesser charge.
Errol DeGroat, 37, was arrested following the July 31, 2024, slaying on a top count of second-degree murder.
